Aymeric Floch - Subsea Well Response Manager

Aymeric graduated from Mines ParisTech in 2002 with an engineering degree. He also followed the Development and Exploitation of Mines module at the IFP School for one year. He then held various operational positions in drilling for ten years, first on rotation on sites in Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates, then in Total's offices in Abu Dhabi, Pau, Lagos and Luanda to prepare and follow exploration and development drilling in offshore and deep offshore environments.

He became senior business and pre-project engineer at the Drilling & Wells Division in Paris, to assess new prospects and carry out engineering studies between 2012 and 2014.

In 2014, he became manager of the Tunu-Tambora-Handil drilling department in Balikpapan (Indonesia) and joined the group's Brazilian subsidiary in 2016 as drilling manager, so as to prepare an exploration campaign in the north of Brazil and to support the transition of the Lapa pre-salt field from Petrobras to Total for the well part.

In 2018, he was appointed manager of the Cargo Transfer Vessel project and coordinated, at the same time, a Task Force Lapa well downgraded situation. In 2019, he moved to Deepwater & Subsea Product Line as manager of the Subsea Well Response department.

Aymeric also represents Total in the Subsea Well Response sub-committee of the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) in which he became vice-chair in 2020.
