Henri Houllevigue - Exploration Representative & South America Geophysical Operations Manager

Henri Houllevigue graduated from the Ecole des Mines de Nancy engineering school. He went on to obtain a master’s degree in geophysics from the IFP School. He joined Total in 1984 as a junior geophysicist at Total Exploration & Production Indonesia, and subsequently served in a variety of positions in Paris; Damascus, Syria; Pau, France; and Luanda, Angola.

From 2000 to 2002, he was exploration asset manager for Block 32 in Angola. He continued his career in Nigeria from 2002 to 2006, where he served as Senior Adviser in Geophysics. Henri returned to France in 2006 as Corporate Geophysics Operations & Technology Manager in Pau. He was then named Vice President, Geophysics at Exploration & Production’s Houston office, a position he filled from 2011 to 2013.

Henri subsequently served as Vice President, Americas Exploration Portfolio Management from 2013 to 2015 before being named R&D Project Manager and Technical & Strategic Program Coordinator for Total and Petrobras in Brazil. He was appointed Exploration Representative & South America Geophysical Operations Manager in January 2019.
